Saudi Premium Residency

Saudi Premium Residency is a long-term residence scheme that lets eligible foreigners live, work, and own property in Saudi Arabia without a local sponsor (kafeel).

Saudi Premium Residency, sometimes called the Saudi 'Green Card', is a residence program administered by the Premium Residency Center that grants qualifying expatriates the right to live in Saudi Arabia without being tied to an employer sponsor under the Kafala system. It is offered in several categories, including permanent and renewable options, as well as routes linked to investment, property ownership, talent, and entrepreneurship.

Holders generally gain benefits not available on a standard Iqama, such as the ability to sponsor their own dependents, own real estate, and conduct certain business activities, with the specific privileges depending on the category granted. Eligibility criteria, fees, and category conditions are set by the program and are subject to change.

Because the categories and financial thresholds are revised over time, applicants should verify the current requirements and fees with the official Premium Residency Center before applying.
