Overview

Oman's police clearance certificate is called the Good Conduct (Husn Al-Seerah) certificate, issued by ROP. Employers abroad and immigration authorities routinely ask for it from anyone who has lived in Oman for 6 months or more.

Current and former residents can apply through ROP eServices. For use overseas, the certificate must then be attested by MOFA Oman and legalised by the destination country's embassy.
