ADLSA (Ministry of Labour, Qatar)

ADLSA is Qatar's Ministry of Labour, the authority responsible for work contracts, labour permits, worker complaints, and employment regulation for the private sector.

ADLSA refers to Qatar's Ministry of Labour (previously part of the Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs portfolio). It is the government body that regulates private-sector employment, including work contracts, labour permits, recruitment, wage protection, and the handling of workers' complaints and disputes.

ADLSA runs the systems used to register and authenticate employment contracts and to manage job changes. Following labour reforms in Qatar, processes such as moving to a new employer without the previous employer's no-objection certificate are administered through the ministry's channels, subject to notice periods and conditions.

Because labour rules and online systems are periodically updated, workers and employers should confirm current contract, transfer, and complaint procedures through ADLSA's official channels.
