The short answer: AED 500-1,500 end-to-end, 14-25 working days through HEC, MOFA Islamabad and the UAE Embassy
A Pakistani degree, NADRA Family Registration Certificate (FRC) or Marriage Registration Certificate (MRC) attested for UAE use in 2026 costs roughly AED 500-1,500 end-to-end and clears in 14-25 working days from the day the document enters HEC or NADRA. The chain is unchanged from 2024: HEC or IBCC or NADRA, then MOFA Islamabad, then the UAE Embassy in Islamabad, then UAE MOFAIC inside the Emirates. Pakistan acceded to the Hague Apostille Convention in March 2023, but because the UAE is not a Hague member, the apostille route does not apply for UAE-bound documents.
| Stage | Authority | Indicative cost | Typical time |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. NADRA FRC or MRC | NADRA (online or NRC) | PKR 1,500 - PKR 2,500 | 3-7 working days |
| 1. HEC degree attestation | Higher Education Commission, Islamabad / Karachi / Lahore / Peshawar / Quetta | PKR 800 per original (PKR 500 copy) | Same day on appointment, 3-4 hours |
| 1. IBCC attestation (SSC / HSSC) | Inter Board Committee of Chairmen | PKR 1,200 per original (PKR 800 copy) | 3-5 working days |
| 2. MOFA Islamabad stamp | Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad / Karachi / Lahore camp offices | PKR 500 - PKR 1,000 per document | 1-3 working days |
| 3. UAE Embassy Islamabad attestation | UAE Embassy, Islamabad | USD 41 (≈ PKR 11,500) per document | 5-10 working days |
| 4. UAE MOFAIC final stamp | MOFAIC, inside UAE | AED 150 per document | 1-3 working days, often same-day |
| Arabic translation (if required) | UAE Ministry of Justice approved translator | AED 80 - AED 150 per page | 1-2 working days |
Most family-visa applicants stack three documents in parallel (FRC, MRC, plus the sponsor's degree) and pay roughly AED 1,200-1,500 all-in for the bundle including Arabic translation. For end-to-end handling see our UAE attestation service or the broader attestation service hub.
Pakistan joined the Hague Apostille Convention in 2023 - why it still does not help for UAE
Pakistan acceded to the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents on 9 March 2023, becoming the 123rd member state. The Convention entered into force for Pakistan during 2023 and MOFA Islamabad began issuing apostille certificates through a dedicated portal (apostille.mofa.gov.pk). Apostille reduces the typical four-stage chain to a single stamp, but only between two member states.
Why the UAE corridor is unaffected
The United Arab Emirates is not a Hague Apostille Convention member. Documents originating in Pakistan and destined for the UAE therefore still require the full traditional chain: NADRA or HEC or IBCC, then MOFA Islamabad's standard attestation sticker (not the apostille), then the UAE Embassy in Islamabad, then UAE MOFAIC after arrival. Presenting an apostille-only Pakistani document to the UAE Embassy in Islamabad results in same-day rejection.
Where the apostille does help Pakistani applicants
- Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman accept Pakistani apostilles directly, often replacing the embassy step.
- For onward use in Europe, the UK (Hague member), India, Turkey and most Commonwealth countries the apostille works.
- For Qatar and Kuwait the apostille does not help; the full chain is still required, similar to UAE.
If your destination is the UAE, treat the apostille route as not available. The UAE Embassy in Islamabad publishes its own attestation fee in USD (USD 41 per document) and does not accept the apostille in lieu of its diplomatic stamp.
NADRA Family Registration Certificate (FRC) and Marriage Registration Certificate (MRC)
For a UAE family visa, the two most important Pakistani documents are the NADRA Family Registration Certificate (FRC) and the NADRA Marriage Registration Certificate (MRC). The FRC links the sponsor to dependants (spouse, children, parents) under a single family tree maintained in the NADRA Citizen Database; the MRC is the bilingual marriage record acceptable to UAE typing centres. Older nikahnamas issued only in Urdu by a union council are typically returned by the UAE Embassy until an MRC has been issued by NADRA.
How to obtain the FRC and MRC
- Online via Pak ID: Pakistani citizens with a CNIC and overseas Pakistanis with a NICOP can apply through the Pak ID portal or app. Fees are paid by card; documents are couriered to the registered address.
- At a NADRA Registration Centre (NRC): Walk-in or pre-booked appointment at any NRC in Pakistan. Biometric verification is required for the applicant.
- At a Pakistan mission abroad: Overseas Pakistanis can apply through the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate in Dubai, which forwards to NADRA Islamabad.
FRC and MRC fees and timelines
| Document | Service | Fee (PKR) | Turnaround |
|---|---|---|---|
| Family Registration Certificate | Normal | 1,500 | 5-7 working days |
| Family Registration Certificate | Urgent | 2,500 | 2-3 working days |
| Marriage Registration Certificate | Normal | 1,500 | 5-7 working days |
| Marriage Registration Certificate | Urgent | 2,500 | 2-3 working days |
| Birth Registration Certificate (CRC) | Normal | 1,000 - 1,500 | 3-7 working days |
| Death Registration Certificate | Normal | 1,000 - 1,500 | 3-7 working days |
What UAE Amer typing centres look for
Amer Al Barsha and other typing centres reading the FRC and MRC check that the sponsor's CNIC number appears in the family tree, that the spouse's name is identical to the passport spelling, and that the MRC carries a bilingual format (English alongside Urdu). An older Form-B or union council nikahnama without an FRC overlay is the single most common cause of UAE family-visa file rejection for Pakistani sponsors.
HEC degree attestation: PKR 800 per stamp, regional offices and the e-portal
The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan attests university degrees, transcripts and equivalence certificates. HEC charges PKR 800 per original document and PKR 500 per photocopy for normal service; urgent service costs PKR 1,000 per original plus a PKR 3,000 application uplift. HEC accepts applications through its online portal (eportal.hec.gov.pk) with mandatory appointment booking before visiting any regional centre.
HEC regional centres
| City | Address | Same-day issuance |
|---|---|---|
| Islamabad (HQ) | H-9 Campus, Sector H-9, Islamabad | Yes, 3-4 hours on appointment |
| Karachi | HEC Regional Centre, University of Karachi | Yes, same day |
| Lahore | HEC Regional Centre, Wahdat Road | Yes, same day |
| Peshawar | HEC Regional Centre, University of Peshawar | Yes, same day |
| Quetta | HEC Regional Centre, BUITEMS | Yes, same day |
What HEC actually verifies
- That the issuing university is recognised by HEC at the time the degree was awarded.
- That the degree number and CNIC on the original document match HEC's record of conferral from the university.
- For private and distance-learning programmes, that the programme itself was HEC-recognised in the year of admission as well as the year of graduation.
Documents required at the HEC counter
- Original degree and transcripts (all years).
- One photocopy of each document.
- CNIC original and photocopy.
- Online appointment slip with the e-portal reference number.
- Fee challan paid through 1Bill or a partner bank.
HEC does not attest degrees from non-recognised institutions. If the university lost recognition between award and presentation, the degree will be rejected and you must obtain an equivalence certificate from HEC's equivalence wing, which is a separate 2-4 week process.
IBCC for school certificates (Matric SSC and HSSC): PKR 1,200 per original
The Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) attests school-level certificates: Secondary School Certificate (SSC / Matric) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC / Intermediate / FSc / FA). IBCC fees in 2026 are PKR 1,200 per original certificate and PKR 800 per photocopy for normal service. Applications are submitted through the IBCC e-portal at attest.ibcc.edu.pk, with collection at the relevant IBCC office.
Why IBCC matters for UAE family visas
- School-age children being added to a UAE residence file usually need their SSC/HSSC certificates attested if they are old enough to have them; the Amer centre will not type a school transfer or KHDA equivalency without IBCC attestation.
- Sponsors using only SSC/HSSC (no degree) for KHDA-equivalency purposes must obtain IBCC attestation rather than HEC.
- Spouses whose highest qualification is HSSC need IBCC attestation if their qualification is being declared in MOHRE or MOHAP files.
IBCC process flow
- Create account on attest.ibcc.edu.pk and upload scans of the certificate plus CNIC.
- Pay the fee online (PKR 1,200 per original); print the application slip.
- Visit the IBCC regional office (Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta) with originals.
- IBCC verifies the certificate against the issuing board (BISE Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, FBISE, etc).
- Collect the attested certificate in 3-5 working days; same-day urgent service is available at some offices with an uplift.
After IBCC the certificate goes to MOFA Islamabad, then the UAE Embassy, then MOFAIC in the UAE. The chain is identical to HEC degrees; only the first stamp differs.
MOFA Islamabad: PKR 500-1,000 stamp, camp offices in Karachi and Lahore
After HEC, IBCC or NADRA, the document goes to the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). MOFA's standard attestation sticker (not the apostille) confirms that the previous Pakistani authority's signature is genuine and binds the document to the diplomatic legalisation chain. Fees are PKR 500 to PKR 1,000 per document for personal certificates and PKR 5,000 to PKR 10,000 for commercial documents.
Where to submit
| Office | Address | Typical turnaround |
|---|---|---|
| MOFA Islamabad HQ | Constitution Avenue, Diplomatic Enclave | 1-2 working days |
| MOFA Camp Office Karachi | State Life Building, II Chundrigar Road | 2-3 working days |
| MOFA Camp Office Lahore | Aiwan-e-Iqbal complex | 2-3 working days |
| MOFA Camp Office Peshawar | Peshawar Cantt | 2-3 working days |
| MOFA Camp Office Quetta | Government Civil Secretariat | 2-3 working days |
| MOFA Camp Office Gujrat | Civil Lines, Gujrat | 2-3 working days |
Apostille vs standard attestation at MOFA
MOFA now operates two parallel counters: the traditional attestation counter and the apostille counter. For UAE-bound documents, you must choose the traditional attestation sticker. Apostilles applied to UAE-bound documents will be rejected at the UAE Embassy stage. The traditional sticker carries MOFA's seal and the signing officer's name; the UAE Embassy verifies that signature against MOFA's circulated specimen.
Payment and submission
- Fees are paid by bank challan (Habib Bank or National Bank) before submission; cash is not accepted at the MOFA counter.
- Walk-ins are accepted at Islamabad HQ between 09:00 and 12:30; collection is the same day or next morning depending on volume.
- Camp offices accept submissions but route physical documents to Islamabad for the actual stamping, adding 1-2 days.
UAE Embassy Islamabad: USD 41 per certificate, 5-10 working days
The UAE Embassy in Islamabad attests Pakistani documents bound for the UAE. The fee structure is denominated in USD 41 per document (approximately PKR 11,500 at June 2026 rates) for personal and educational certificates, payable in PKR equivalent at the embassy counter. Commercial documents attract a substantially higher fee (around USD 545 for company contracts and powers of attorney).
Submission and collection
- Documents are submitted in person or through an authorised representative at the UAE Embassy on Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad.
- The Embassy does not operate an outsourced visa centre for attestation; submission is direct at the consular counter.
- Fee is paid in PKR cash at the embassy cashier; receipts are required for collection.
- Standard turnaround is 5-10 working days; expedited service is sometimes available for an additional uplift but is not guaranteed.
- The Pakistani Consulate in Dubai and Embassy in Abu Dhabi do not attest Pakistani documents for UAE use; the only embassy that performs this step is the UAE Embassy in Islamabad.
What the Embassy verifies
- That the MOFA Islamabad sticker is genuine and the signing officer's specimen matches the circular held by the embassy.
- That the document type is acceptable for UAE use (personal, educational, commercial).
- That the holder's name on the document matches the passport spelling exactly; this is the highest-risk verification step for Pakistani documents.
The Urdu vs English spelling trap
Pakistani identity documents often record names in both Urdu and English. The English transliteration on a CNIC (e.g. "Muhammad" vs "Mohammed", "Khan" vs "Khaan", "Bibi" vs "Begum") can differ from the passport spelling because passport spellings are sometimes harmonised with NADRA's data-entry standard rather than the original birth-record transliteration. The UAE Embassy queues mismatched names into a verification track that can add 2-3 weeks. See the rejection section below for the affidavit fix.
UAE MOFAIC final stamp: AED 150, inside the UAE, often via a typing centre
The final stage takes place inside the UAE. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC) stamps the document for AED 150 per certificate for personal and educational documents, and AED 2,048 for commercial documents. The MOFAIC stamp confirms the UAE Embassy's signature and binds the document into UAE government systems for use by MOHRE, ICP, MOHAP, KHDA and the family visa typing centres.
How MOFAIC processes Pakistani documents
- Submission is online through MOFAIC's portal (smartservices.mofaic.gov.ae) or through an Amer or Tasheel typing centre acting on behalf of the applicant.
- Most Pakistani-document MOFAIC submissions clear within one to three working days; rush service is available for same-day turnaround at an uplift.
- The output is a digital stamp on the certificate (older paper sticker for documents submitted in person) plus an entry in the MOFAIC database.
- Verification is performed by scanning the certificate or entering the reference number on the MOFAIC verification page.
Stacking with the family-visa file at Amer Al Barsha
For a Pakistani sponsor in Dubai applying for a family visa, the most efficient flow is to have the MOFAIC stamp applied at the same Amer typing centre that prepares the family-sponsorship file. Our Amer Al Barsha centre applies MOFAIC and types the family-visa application in a single sitting once the UAE Embassy attestation is complete. See the broader UAE family sponsorship service for how the attested FRC and MRC integrate into the sponsor's file.
Common rejection reasons: Urdu vs English name mismatch, missing FRC, old nikahnama
Pakistani documents attract a recurring set of rejection reasons at the UAE Embassy and at MOFAIC. Most are correctable but each adds two to four weeks to the timeline.
| Rejection reason | Where it surfaces | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Name spelling mismatch between CNIC English and passport English | UAE Embassy Islamabad | Affidavit of name equivalence on PKR 100 stamp paper, notarised, attested by MOFA. Adds 1-2 weeks. |
| Nikahnama in Urdu only, no NADRA MRC | UAE Embassy Islamabad / Amer typing centre | Apply for NADRA MRC (bilingual). Adds 5-7 working days. |
| Old Form-B for child without CRC overlay | UAE Embassy Islamabad | Obtain NADRA Child Registration Certificate (CRC) and re-route through the chain. |
| Degree from non-HEC-recognised university | HEC Islamabad | Obtain HEC equivalence certificate; separate 2-4 week process. |
| MOFA apostille used instead of standard attestation | UAE Embassy Islamabad | Return to MOFA for re-attestation with the traditional sticker. |
| Father's name mismatch between FRC and passport | Amer typing centre / UAE Embassy | NADRA family tree correction (Form 33) before re-issuing FRC. |
| Photocopy submitted instead of original | HEC / IBCC / MOFA | Submit original; photocopies are stamped separately at a discounted rate but require the original to be presented. |
| Provisional degree instead of final | HEC / UAE Embassy | Wait for final degree issuance; provisional is accepted only with a specific HEC equivalence letter. |
| UAE Embassy fee paid in wrong PKR equivalent | UAE Embassy counter | Pay the day's published USD-PKR equivalent at the embassy cashier; bank-converted amounts mid-flight are not accepted. |
| Arabic translation done in Pakistan | MOHRE / MOHAP in UAE | Re-translate with a UAE Ministry of Justice approved translator after arrival. |
The dominant rejection: name spelling
The single most frequent issue for Pakistani documents at the UAE Embassy in 2026 is the English spelling of the holder's name differing between the CNIC, the passport, and the document being attested. "Muhammad Ali Khan" on a degree, "Mohammad Ali Khan" on the CNIC and "Muhammad Ali" (no Khan) on the passport are three different names from the embassy's perspective. The fix is an affidavit of name equivalence, executed on Rs 100 stamp paper, notarised by a district magistrate, and itself sent through HEC-style MOFA attestation before being presented at the UAE Embassy together with the degree. Build a fortnight into the timeline if any of your documents shows a different spelling from the passport.
Step-by-step pre-flight from Pakistan: what to finish before flying
If you can complete the Pakistan-side chain before flying to the UAE, the only remaining step is the MOFAIC stamp at AED 150 per document inside the Emirates. The pre-flight sequence below assumes a sponsor moving to Dubai or Abu Dhabi for a family visa with their spouse and one child.
- Week 1 - NADRA documents: Apply through Pak ID for the FRC (PKR 1,500), the MRC (PKR 1,500) and the child's CRC (PKR 1,500). Choose urgent service if your travel is within 30 days.
- Week 1 - HEC appointment: Book online slot at HEC Islamabad e-portal; pay PKR 800 per original degree and PKR 500 per copy.
- Week 2 - HEC visit: Submit original degree and transcripts at H-9 Campus; collect same day in 3-4 hours.
- Week 2 - MOFA Islamabad: Walk in to MOFA Constitution Avenue with HEC-stamped degree, NADRA FRC, NADRA MRC and child's CRC; pay PKR 500-1,000 per document via Habib Bank challan; collect 1-2 days later.
- Week 3 - UAE Embassy Islamabad: Submit four documents at the UAE Embassy; pay USD 41 per document in PKR equivalent (around PKR 46,000 total for four documents); collect 5-10 working days later.
- Week 5 - Fly to UAE: Carry original embassy-stamped documents in cabin baggage; do not check in.
- Week 5 - Amer Al Barsha: Submit to MOFAIC for AED 150 per document; in parallel, the typing centre prepares the family-visa file. See our Amer Al Barsha centre for service hours and document checklist.
Pakistan-side cost summary (sponsor plus spouse plus one child)
| Item | Quantity | Cost (PKR) | Cost (AED equiv) |
|---|---|---|---|
| NADRA FRC, MRC, CRC | 3 | 4,500 | 59 |
| HEC sponsor's degree | 1 | 800 | 11 |
| MOFA Islamabad stamps | 4 | 3,000 | 40 |
| UAE Embassy attestation | 4 | 46,000 | 602 |
| Pre-flight subtotal | - | 54,300 | 712 |
| UAE MOFAIC after arrival | 4 | - | 600 |
| Arabic translation (sponsor degree only) | 1 | - | 100-150 |
| End-to-end total | - | - | 1,412-1,462 |
This is the realistic full-bundle cost for a Pakistani family of three onboarding to a UAE family visa in 2026. Single-document costs (e.g., just the sponsor's degree) sit closer to AED 500 end-to-end. For a single document the chain is identical; only the count of stamps differs.
ICP and UAE Pass: portal logins after the documents are attested
Once the MOFAIC stamp is on, the documents enter the UAE government data layer through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) and the verification system UAE Pass. For a Pakistani sponsor applying for a family visa, the steps are:
- Sponsor registers on UAE Pass with their Emirates ID; biometric verification at an Amer centre or self-service kiosk activates the account.
- Sponsor logs into ICP smart services through UAE Pass and uploads scans of the MOFAIC-stamped MRC and the spouse's passport to initiate the family-sponsorship application.
- The Amer typing centre completes the application in parallel, using the same UAE Pass login on the kiosk side.
- Entry permit is issued in 3-7 working days; the spouse then enters the UAE on the entry permit and completes medical, Emirates ID biometrics and visa stamping.
The attested FRC is reviewed at the entry permit stage to confirm the family relationship; the attested MRC is checked when stamping the visa. Both must be MOFAIC-stamped at the time of submission; older attestations whose MOFAIC stamp predates 2024 are now typically re-verified at the typing centre, which the AED 150 fee covers.
The Wathim attestation desk: Pakistan chain plus Amer Al Barsha typing
For Pakistani sponsors already in the UAE, or about to move with a tight timeline, the most efficient route is to authorise an end-to-end agent in Pakistan for the NADRA-HEC-IBCC-MOFA-UAE-Embassy stages and accept the embassy-stamped originals by international courier. The Wathim attestation desk handles this for Pakistani documents and the UAE-side MOFAIC stamp and family-visa typing are completed at our Amer Al Barsha centre on arrival.
How the handoff works in practice
- You courier your originals (degree, transcripts, nikahnama, child's Form-B) to our Islamabad-side desk along with a notarised power of attorney and copies of all CNICs and passport data pages.
- We complete the NADRA FRC, MRC and CRC online through Pak ID, then run HEC and/or IBCC, then MOFA Islamabad, then UAE Embassy in Islamabad.
- We courier the embassy-stamped originals back to your nominated UAE address; you receive scanned copies by email at each stage.
- On receipt in the UAE, our Amer Al Barsha centre submits to MOFAIC for AED 150 per document and types the family-visa or labour file in the same sitting.
When the bundle approach pays off
- Family visa with spouse and children where FRC, MRC and CRC must move in parallel; sequential processing adds two to three weeks.
- Sponsor's degree is required at MOHRE for senior-role attestation alongside the family file.
- Name spelling mismatch on any document, which needs an affidavit chain running in parallel rather than sequentially.
- You hold a Pakistani document issued before 2010 where pre-digitised records require additional NADRA or HEC verification.
For corridor comparison, the equivalent Indian-degree chain is now fully digital after the September 2025 reform; see our analysis of the Indian degree attestation digital MOFA route. To start your Pakistani chain, see the UAE attestation service page or contact us with your document list, sponsor CNIC and target UAE city.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Pakistan acceded to the Hague Apostille Convention in March 2023 and MOFA Islamabad now issues apostilles, but the UAE is not a Hague member and does not accept the apostille in lieu of embassy attestation. Pakistani documents bound for the UAE still require the full chain: NADRA or HEC or IBCC, then MOFA Islamabad's traditional attestation sticker, then UAE Embassy Islamabad (USD 41 per document), then MOFAIC inside the UAE (AED 150 per document). Apostille-only documents are rejected at the UAE Embassy stage.
Roughly AED 500-700 end-to-end for a single degree. The breakdown is HEC PKR 800, MOFA Islamabad PKR 500-1,000, UAE Embassy Islamabad USD 41 (around PKR 11,500), UAE MOFAIC AED 150, and Arabic translation AED 80-150 per page if required. A bundle of FRC, MRC, child CRC and sponsor degree typically costs AED 1,200-1,500 all-in including translation.
14-25 working days end-to-end on the standard route. NADRA FRC/MRC takes 5-7 days, HEC is same-day, MOFA Islamabad is 1-3 days, UAE Embassy Islamabad is 5-10 days, MOFAIC after arrival is 1-3 days. Urgent NADRA service compresses the front end by 3-4 days; embassy turnaround is the largest variable.
The FRC is a NADRA-issued document showing the sponsor's complete family tree under their CNIC: spouse, children and parents linked together in NADRA's citizen database. UAE typing centres including Amer Al Barsha use the FRC to verify the relationship between the sponsor and the dependant. Older Form-B documents or union council records without an FRC overlay are routinely rejected at the entry-permit stage. The FRC costs PKR 1,500 normal or PKR 2,500 urgent.
No. The Pakistan diplomatic missions in the UAE do not perform attestation for the UAE Embassy stage of the chain. The UAE Embassy that attests Pakistani documents is specifically the UAE Embassy in Islamabad. The Pakistan missions in Abu Dhabi and Dubai can forward NADRA applications and issue MRCs and CRCs to overseas Pakistanis, but the legalisation chain itself runs through Islamabad.
Not directly. The UAE Embassy requires the NADRA Marriage Registration Certificate (MRC), which is bilingual Urdu-English and machine-readable. If you only have the original union council nikahnama, apply for the MRC through NADRA via Pak ID (PKR 1,500 normal, PKR 2,500 urgent) and then route the MRC through MOFA Islamabad and the UAE Embassy. The original nikahnama is required at NADRA but is not separately attested for UAE use.
USD 41 per document for personal and educational certificates, including degrees, marksheets, birth certificates and marriage certificates. The fee is collected in PKR equivalent at the embassy cashier counter, typically around PKR 11,500 at June 2026 exchange rates. Commercial documents such as company powers of attorney and board resolutions cost substantially more, around USD 545. The fee is non-refundable even if the document is later rejected.
The UAE Embassy requires the English spelling of the holder's name to match exactly across the document, the CNIC and the passport. Variations like Muhammad vs Mohammed, Khaan vs Khan, or missing father's name cause rejection. The fix is an affidavit of name equivalence on Rs 100 stamp paper, notarised by a district magistrate, then attested through MOFA Islamabad before being presented at the UAE Embassy together with the original document. Build 1-2 weeks into your timeline for this if any spelling differs.
The standard attestation counter only. MOFA Islamabad now operates both counters in parallel: apostille for Hague-member destinations (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Europe, UK), and traditional attestation for non-Hague destinations including UAE, Qatar and Kuwait. Choosing the apostille counter for a UAE-bound document means the UAE Embassy will reject it and you will have to return to MOFA for re-attestation. Confirm with the MOFA front desk that you need the traditional sticker.
Yes. Our attestation desk handles NADRA FRC/MRC/CRC issuance, HEC degree attestation, IBCC school certificate attestation, MOFA Islamabad and the UAE Embassy in Islamabad end-to-end. We courier embassy-stamped originals to your UAE address and our Amer Al Barsha centre applies the MOFAIC stamp at AED 150 per document and types the family-visa or labour file in the same sitting. Contact the desk with your CNIC, document list and target UAE city for a fixed quote.
