Absher is the digital services platform of the Saudi Ministry of Interior. Residents use the Absher (and Absher Business, for employers) portal and app to renew the Iqama, issue exit and re-entry visas, manage dependents, check traffic violations, and authenticate with the Nafath identity service.
An active Absher account is effectively mandatory for living in Saudi Arabia, since most resident-facing transactions run through it. Many actions for sponsored workers are initiated by the employer through Absher Business or Muqeem and then confirmed by the worker.
