Exit Re-entry Visa

An exit re-entry visa lets a sponsored resident of Saudi Arabia travel abroad and return within a set period while keeping their Iqama and residency valid.

An exit re-entry visa (Arabic tasheera khuruj wa awda) is the permit a foreign resident in Saudi Arabia needs to leave the country temporarily and come back without losing their residency. It is tied to a valid Iqama and must be issued before departure.

Exit re-entry visas come in single and multiple variants and are issued for a defined validity period; the resident must return before that period ends to avoid the visa lapsing and the Iqama being affected. They are commonly requested by the worker through Absher or by the employer through Muqeem.

Validity durations, government fees, and whether the sponsor's approval is required can differ by case and change with policy, so confirm the current terms and ensure the visa covers your full travel dates before leaving.
