Hamad Health Card

The Hamad Health Card is Qatar's government health card that gives holders access to subsidised public healthcare at Hamad Medical Corporation and primary health centres, and is commonly required as part of residence and visa processes.

The Hamad Health Card is the public health card issued in Qatar that entitles the holder to use government healthcare services, including Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) hospitals and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) centres, at subsidised rates. It is a standard part of living in Qatar for residents and is often needed alongside the residence-permit process.

Applications and renewals are typically handled online or through designated health and government channels, with the card linked to the holder's QID. The card usually carries a validity period and must be renewed before it expires to keep accessing subsidised care.

Both the annual fee and the exact application route can change, so confirm the current fee, validity, and renewal channel through the official health portal before applying.
