What is in the bank
641 questions: the 481 behind our free Kuwait practice tests, which stay free, and 160 written only for this bank and audited separately. What you pay for is the mock-exam engine, the tracking and the extra questions - not access to the free ones.
What a fail costs you
These are what the test costs, not what this replaces — it is practice, and the authority still sets the paper. What it changes is how many attempts you need. The printable pack carries the same questions on paper.

What this bank covers
641 questions across 8 topics, counted from the bank itself. The mocks draw from all of them in the proportions below; the topic drills let you sit one at a time.
| Topic | Questions | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Road signs and signals | 121 | 19% |
| Penalties and fines | 100 | 16% |
| Traffic rules | 95 | 15% |
| Safe driving | 95 | 15% |
| Right of way | 90 | 14% |
| Heavy vehicle | 70 | 11% |
| Motorcycle control | 35 | 5% |
| Motorcycle safety | 35 | 5% |
Shares are of this bank, not of the real paper. No GCC traffic authority publishes a weighting for its theory test, so anyone showing you one has estimated it.

Get the full bank — AED 49Why a Kuwait bank and not a generic one
- The reported 18/20 pass mark leaves room for two mistakes across the whole paper, so breadth matters more than depth.
- Each test-centre visit is reported at KWD 12 (KWD 5 admin plus KWD 7 practical) with no stated attempt limit, but the KD 600 salary and residency gate stops more people than the test does.
- 23 exam-length papers, the most of any pack, because the paper is short and repetition is what works.

Same material, different form. The Kuwait Driving Test Questions PDF (MCQ) is a PDF you print and mark by hand; this runs the questions as timed mocks in the browser at the real paper length, marks them, and tracks which topics you keep getting wrong. Buying this one includes the PDF.
No, and nobody selling them has them. These are original questions written to the published General Traffic Department (MOI) syllabus and road rules. The real paper is set by the authority and can change; what this prepares you for is the format and the material, not a leaked copy.
20 questions, with 18 correct needed to pass: a 90% pass mark. That is the format reported by kuwaitlocal.com (May 2026) and autoviatest.com; no Ministry of Interior page publishes it, and the time limit is not confirmed, so our mocks allow 20 minutes. It is the shortest paper of the six GCC tests.
No, and this is specific to Kuwait. The theory paper is not repeated on a retest visit. You pay the KWD 12 visit fee - KWD 5 administrative plus KWD 7 practical - and resit the part you failed.
KWD 12 per visit to the test centre, whether it is your first attempt or a retest. Figures of KD 150-300 that appear online are totals including driving school, not the test-centre fee.
On the reported format, yes. 18 out of 20 is the pass, so a third mistake fails you. That is a 90% pass mark, which is why sign recognition needs to be automatic rather than worked out in the room.
Same bank, different format - the free tests are timed and marked on screen, the pack is the whole bank printable with explanations.
Where these figures come from
- kuwaitlocal.com, October 2026
Used for: the KWD 12 per-visit fee, its split into KWD 5 administrative and KWD 7 practical, and the rule that the theory paper is not repeated on a retest visit
- kuwaitlocal.com, May 2026, and autoviatest.com, October 2026
Used for: the reported format: 20 questions, 18 correct to pass (90%). No Ministry of Interior publication of the format was found, and the 20-minute limit is our conservative choice rather than a confirmed figure
