What these questions are, and are not
Every question is original, written to the published Qatar UPDA exam format and topics and checked by a second examiner. None is a recalled or leaked exam question - anyone selling those is risking your exam. 25 questions in 60 minutes, the format providers consistently report. The Ministry publishes no pass mark, so the app shows a target rather than an official threshold - three sources give 60%, 50%, and 13 of 25, which is about 52%.

These are the exam's own numbers, not what this replaces — it is practice, and the authority still sets the paper. The free guide explains the exam itself in full.

What this bank covers
162 questions across 4 topics, counted from the bank itself. The mocks draw from all of them in the proportions below; the topic drills let you sit one at a time.
| Topic | Questions | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Electrical | 41 | 25% |
| Architecture | 41 | 25% |
| Civil | 40 | 25% |
| Mechanical | 40 | 25% |
Shares are of this bank, not of the real paper. No GCC traffic authority publishes a weighting for its theory test, so anyone showing you one has estimated it.

The computer-based multiple-choice exam that sits inside Qatar's engineer accreditation, run by the Ministry of Municipality and still widely called MMUP. It is 25 to 27 questions in 60 minutes, in your own discipline, with no negative marking.
Not published by the Ministry. One provider says 60% while also quoting 13 correct out of 25, which is about 52%; another says 50%. The two raw counts agree with each other, so aim comfortably above half.
QAR 300 is quoted consistently as the licence fee after passing. We could not find the exam fee published by anyone. Training courses run roughly QAR 599-1,500 and are a provider's fee, not a government one.
Civil, mechanical, electrical and architecture are the papers providers most commonly prepare candidates for. The paper should match the discipline you want to be accredited in.
Trainee, C, B or A. The bands are usually described by years - trainee under five, C five to seven, B seven and above, A ten and above - but providers say qualifications, exam result and job role count too, so the band is not a promise.
Where these figures come from
- Qatar training providers (BMTC Consulting, SkillXplore, Future Point, Green International, EIS Qatar), 2026
Used for: Format, question count, duration, marking, the three different pass marks, grade bands, the QAR 300 licence fee and the per-discipline syllabus
- Ministry of Municipality, Qatar
Used for: The authority for accreditation. We could not locate a published syllabus, pass mark or exam fee, which is why those sit in the unconfirmed list
